Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your Possibility Calculator account whenever you choose.

Request deletion without signing in

Email support@thepossibilitycalculator.com from the email address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. You do not need to sign in or reinstall the app.

If you cannot email from the registered address, tell us the account email and we will use reasonable steps to verify that the account belongs to you before deleting it.

Delete it yourself in the app or website

  1. Sign in to The Possibility Calculator.
  2. Open Settings in the mobile app or website and choose Delete Account.
  3. Enter your password, confirm that you understand the deletion is permanent, and follow the final confirmation prompt.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your sign-in details, budget scenarios and items, goals and tasks, payment-method descriptions, subscription entitlement records, and security records from our application database. This cannot be undone and the data cannot be recovered.

What may remain temporarily

Routine encrypted database backups may contain a copy for up to seven days before automatic expiry. Backups are used only for disaster recovery and are not used to restore a deleted account. Standard security and request logs may also be retained for security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting, then removed under our operational retention processes.

Apple, Google Play and Stripe keep their own payment and transaction records under their policies and any legal obligations. Deleting your Possibility Calculator account does not delete records held independently by those payment providers.

Cancel store billing separately

If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, deleting your Possibility Calculator account does not cancel that store subscription. Cancel it in your store account first if you do not want it to renew:

If your subscription was purchased on the website through Stripe, the deletion process attempts to cancel it before deleting the account. If cancellation cannot be confirmed, the account is not deleted.
